The Kohler Food & Wine Experience offers guests terrific food, wine, and the opportunity to hear culinary greats such as Jacques Pepin share their vast knowledge.  Nueske's will also be in attendance to prepare and share our fine Wisconsin bacon at the vendor fair.

Nueske's will visiting the other side of Lake Michigan, serving our smoky bacon at the Michigan Restaurant Show in Novi.  Stop by and sample our signature rich, mellow bacon at Booth #109.

Diner's Journal: In Praise Of The BLT At 3 Twin Cities Restaurants (and a food truck)

"... It’s hard to single out a favorite ingredient in the BLT at Yum! Kitchen and Bakery, because they’re all so good: colorful, locally raised heirloom tomatoes. Smoky, thick-cut bacon (from Nueske’s, the pride of Wittenberg, Wis.). A punchy garlic aioli. A chewy house-baked ciabatta roll. The ridiculously addictive (and made on the premises) potato chips are the proverbial icing on the cake. Price: $9.25.

"...I'll never look at a BLT the same way again. Or several other comfort foods turned classy, such as Macaroni and Blue Cheese, Crab and Brie Quesadilla with Peach Salsa, and Buffalo Chicken Cobb Salad, all on the menu at York Blue Moon Restaurant...

I went for the Chicken BLT (thanks to the server's recommendation), and it did not disappoint. The bacon is Nueske's (touted as the "world's finest applewood smoked meats" when I googled it online), topped with Bibb lettuce, cheddar cheese and the best part — fried green tomatoes — on a soft bun. The tomatoes really elevated the BLT from the classic we know and love..."

Nueske's BLT at Wrigley Field - July 2015

"...As a tribute to Hot Dog Month in July, the Decade Diner in the right field concourse will offer a unique foot-long Philly Cheese Steak Dog that features a foot-long Vienna Beef hot dog topped with sautéed beef, onions and white American cheese. Guests also may order a Next Level BLT made with slab-cut Nueske's bacon, avocado mayonnaise, thick-cut vine ripened tomatoes and arugula on grilled sourdough bread..."

Nueske's will be part of each breakfast served at the National American Culinary Federation (ACF) Convention & Show taking place in Orlando, Florida.  Our Wild Cherrywood Smoked Bacon, Pepper-Coated Bacon, and Fresh Pork Sausage Links will be on the menu, so if you're attending this year's ACF, think of us as you enjoy your meal!  You'll also be able to stop by and visit our ACF booth, #527.

July 4-11, 2015
Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, hosts Bacon Week as the kick-off for the Bacon, Brew, & BBQ Fest taking place on Saturday, July 11th.  Bacon Week activities include a Betty Lou Cruise on Lake Monona, complete with bacon appetizers and live music, a Bacon Run, and several other unique bacon-centric activities, all culminating in the Bacon, Brew, & BBQ Fest.  We'll be there, so make sure to look for the Nueske's table...we'll have bacon waiting!

Far up Wisconsin's Door Peninsula, we'll be at the Uncork Summer event in Ellison Bay, serving samples of our Wild Cherrywood Smoked Bacon and our Bacon Cheddar Bratwurst.  Janice Thomas of Savory Spoon Cooking School will be serving her creamy macaroni and cheese garnished with our Pepper Coated Bacon.

January 12, 2015 - Bob, My Friend
It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that I inform you our valued customers, friends and suppliers that Robert D. Nueske passed away on January 12, 2015 with his family at his side.   Bob, as we all knew him as, was a champion of our “Brand” and an advocate for everyone on the Team. His message was heard loud and clear.  Protect our image and culture and be sure as we grow to embrace our new teammates and teach them what it means to be part of Nueske’s.  Bob taught us to be true to our brand, our products and ourselves.  I have had the privilege and honor to work for Bob and the Nueske family representing the best coworkers that anyone on this earth could imagine. Our world has been rocked by the loss of a person that meant so much to us all.  We move forward honoring his legacy staying true to who we are……and We Are Nueske’s!
