National Association for the Specialty Food Trade
From more than 1,640 entries, an NASFT's panel of food professionals selected Nueske's Applewood-smoked Sliced Bacon for its 2001 Best of Best Award. The award recognizes Nueske bacon as the outstanding product in the meat, pate and seafood category.

American Culinary Institute
A judging panel of degreed and certified chefs honored Nueske bacon as the finest Applewood smoked bacon in America. Judges included certified Culinarians, Executive Chefs, Chefs du Cuisine and Chef/Owners of some of America's finest restaurants.

The American Culinary Institute has honored Nueske Applewood-smoked Sliced Bacon with its Award of Excellence for nine (9) consecutive years: 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002.

In 2000 and 2001, the American Culinary Institute's chef panel also awarded American Tasting Award of Excellence honors to Applewood-smoked, Honey-glazed Spiral-sliced Hams from Nueske Hillcrest Farm Meats.
