Cooking Tips for Great Pork Loin
Our smoked pork loins are fully cooked and ready to prepare. Whole, bone-in loins are generally cut into chops, which are then warmed gently before serving. To cook our smoked pork chops:
GRILL OR BROIL:
If sliced into chops, place pork chops on grill or broiler rack 5"-7" from heat source. Heat for approximately 3 minutes per side for a chop about 3/4" thick. For thicker chops, heat approximately 4 minutes per side, and for thinner chops, heat approximately 2 minutes per side. Do not overheat.
If preparing a whole bone-in pork loin, heat oven to 325°F and add 1/2 cup water to large baking pan. Place loin in the pan and cover loin and pan with foil. Place in oven and heat for 15 minutes per pound. Do not overheat.
SKILLET:
Melt 1 Tbsp. of butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place pork chops in the skillet and warm for approximately 4 minutes per side for a chop about 3/4". Do not overheat.
